How Do I.....?
Okay, this is a first for me. My daughter has fascinated me with her blog to the point that I thought that I might create one of my own. No fancy schmancy like hers with music and photos tho. I'm an old dog and it'll take me awhile to learn some new tricks.
What I hope to gain through a blog is some contact with people who share the same loves as me.....love of horses, love of hobbys, and most important, love of my Lord and my family. I'm recently divorced and the thankful recipient of a double lung transplant - 3 1/2 years and going strong!
Through the patience of a good friend, I'm learning how to make cards, I enjoy scrapbooking via my daughter, I knit and crochet, and I have cross-stitch projects too numerous to mention tucked away in my craft room. I can't get enough of my granddaughter, Amazing Grace, and her parents are pretty amazing as well. My son is 10 feet tall and bullet-proof, and if you don't believe me, just ask him. He'll be happy to tell you! I'm a newspaper editor forced into retirement, and miss the daily contact with news and newsmakers.
Well, that's enough for a first. As I used to say in my weekly newspaper column,
